im not quite sure why, but i always feel scared when people talk about "college" and the "future". they make it seem so scary to be on your own. they always seem to mention all of the negatives and never the positives; its either money, work, or school, that become major issues as a college student. im afraid that if i do go to a college outside of San Diego i might not have so much success. i'll be living on my own in a whole new city i have never even stepped foot in. i chose to go to usf because it will give me a chance to explore and learn new things and help me develop life skills. you try and tell poeple "im jus scared to be on my own" and all they give you is a nonchalant reply "oh, im sure you'll do just fine" i mean c'mon..am i right or what? :) hehe.
Career
Doctor, policeman, vet, and lawyer; all i ever hear or read about are MAJOR careers! i mean yes i want to be successful and make money, but theres so many "little jobs" that arent mentioned. i just feel like there's more to being a civil engineer than what i reasearch. i know that being an engineer is not the only career that involves math/science, but it does make money :D hehe. i jus know that if i love doing the math that i do now, why not make good money for doing it?
Location/Life/Living
i love living in Caifornia!! here we have the weather, the beaches, the city and the country. how much better can it get. i couldnt imagine living anywhere else but here. when i grow up i would like to stay mainly in southern cali. but perhaps the job that i get may take me somehwere else. but i hope not. i love the city lights and the warmth of the summer nights :) hehe that rhymed. but anyway. i plan to live in a city. nothing big like new york or anything. a small home, nothing fancy (simplicity is best) i want a backyard for celebratiions and two kids to raise:))
